Mr. Farney graduated from high school in Lowell, Indiana. He lived in Florida, New York, and Illinois before moving to Tennessee. He graduated from Bryan College with a history major and has a Master’s degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. He has taught at RCHS since 1985. He is an avid music lover (picture is in front of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio) and plays guitar. He is also the worship pastor at his church. He is married and has two adult children. He and his wife currently reside in Dayton, Tennessee.
